Message from Daytrippers’ very own James:
On Sunday 9th July 2017, five friends and I will be running the Virgin Sport British 10K race in Westminster. We’re all hugely excited to take part in this iconic event, and I am particularly happy that we’ll all be raising money for the charity I work for!
Our mission at Daytrippers is to ensure children and young people living with disabilities have the opportunity to enjoy themselves, improve their confidence and break boundaries through social, recreational and educational activities. We do this by staging our own fun and inclusive events, and funding day trips for organisations, special schools, support groups and hospices around the UK.
Daytrippers has already provided over 33,000 individual experiences for the children and young people we believe benefit from and deserve them the most. If you’d like to read more about the work we do, please download last year’s annual review.
We’re hoping to raise at least £800 for Daytrippers, so any donations made would be hugely appreciated!

We will all be standing out in our bright blue Daytrippers T-shirts on the day, so if you’re free on Sunday 9th July then please come down, say hello and cheers us on!
If you’d like to get involved with Daytrippers there are also many other ways to support us.
Now we had better get training!
