The Daytrippers 2018 Events Programme has been approved as a project on the Aviva Community Fund – and now we need your help!
The Aviva Community Fund will award over 500 UK projects across four different funding levels and four categories. If a project gets enough votes and wows their judges, it will be in with a chance of receiving that much-needed funding.
Through our events programmes, Daytrippers has provided unforgettable experiences for over 23,000 children and young people with disabilities and life-limiting conditions. Our events are creative, challenging, exciting and are specifically designed for families, support groups, hospices and special schools.
We need your votes to be in with a chance of securing up to £25,000 to fund several events in 2018 including two bespoke children’s hospice events, an aviation experience, circus art skills, an aerial obstacle course at Challenge 4 Change, an inclusive sports festival, Colourscape, a bowling party and a private open captioned pantomime.
Winning this funding would provide security for next year’s events programme and ensure we are able to continue delivering exceptional days out for as many young people with disabilities as possible.
How does the voting work?
Thankfully, voting is really simple! Between now and midday on 21 November 2017, anyone who lives in the UK can vote for projects – please register to vote on the Aviva Community Fund website here.
Each registered user gets 10 votes they can use at any time, either by spreading them between multiple projects or using them all to support Daytrippers.
Please share this opportunity far and wide for us to achieve as many votes as possible. If our 2018 Events Programme receives enough votes we could then be entered into the Finals, where a judging panel will award the funds.
Thank you in advance for your support and lets make 2018 our best year ever!
