Introducing Daytrippers Foundation

After 15 years of hosting our own bespoke events, we will now be helping frontline charities and support groups deliver the unforgettable experiences they have always wanted to.

Our goal remains the same: to improve the lives of children and young people with disabilities by creating new opportunities and providing unforgettable, inclusive experiences.

The Daytrippers Foundation will enable groups to deliver exciting day trips, host their own medium and large events, and develop ongoing projects that will transform the lives of young people with disabilities. We will also support organisations that provide vital services for young people with disabilities and essential equipment like daily living aids.

The long-running Day Trip Grants programme will remain unchanged and will make up the first of three new tiers of funding that groups can apply for:

  • Day Trip Grants – we will continue to pledge funds towards exciting days out across the UK for charities, support groups, SEND schools and hospices.
  • Events & Workshop Grants – we will commit funding to medium and large events, workshops or activities that will benefit young people with disabilities.
  • Legacy Grants – we will form partnerships and work closely as consultants for ongoing projects that will significantly improve youth inclusion, recreation and disabled access.

Do you have an idea for an exceptional event or plans for a bigger ongoing project that will enhance the lives of children and young people with disabilities? We want to hear about it.

Challenge perceptions. Promote Inclusive fun for all. Get creative.
